Real projects. Real people. Real results.

Every solar installation tells a different story. Whether it's helping a family reduce their power bills, supporting a local school's sustainability journey, or delivering long-term value for a commercial business, every project starts with understanding our client's goals.

Take a look at some of the projects we're proud to have delivered across Marlborough and the Top of the South.

Commercial Installs

Coles Contracting
Commercial business

Year
2025

A local business investing in smarter energy. For Coles Contracting, making the move to solar was about taking greater control of their energy needs and reducing the impact of rising electricity costs on the business.

Our team designed and installed a commercial solar solution around the way their business operates, helping them generate more of their own power and turn previously unused roof space into a long-term asset.

It’s a great example of a Marlborough business looking beyond today’s power bill and investing in how they’ll power their operation well into the future.

Foley Wines
Commercial Winery

Year
2025

Working in collaboration with Meridian Energy, Evo Solar delivered a commercial solar project for Foley Wines — supporting their move towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.

For a business operating at this scale, solar is about more than putting panels on the roof. It’s an opportunity to generate more energy on-site, reduce reliance on the grid and make a long-term investment in how the business will meet its future energy needs.

We’re proud to have worked alongside Meridian Energy and Foley Wines to bring the project to life, combining commercial solar expertise with a solution designed around the demands of the operation.

Redwoodtown School
Commercial business

Year
2026

Redwoodtown School’s journey to solar started with its students. As part of their science learning, students explored sustainability and presented their ideas to the Board of Trustees, helping spark the decision to invest in solar for the school.

The move allows Redwoodtown School to reduce operating costs and improve its environmental footprint, while creating a valuable real world learning opportunity. Students can access live solar data and see first-hand how the energy being generated at their own school connects with their science and maths learning.

Evo Solar worked closely with the school throughout the process, including navigating Ministry of Education requirements and designing a solar system around the school’s current and future energy needs. A pretty special Marlborough solar project and one that will benefit generations of students to come.

Residential Installs

Witherlea Project
Residential home

Year
2026

This is one of many residential solar installations our team has completed across Marlborough, but no two are approached exactly the same way. We start by understanding the household - how they use power now, what they want to achieve and how their energy needs might change in the future. From there, we design and install a solar solution that makes sense for their home.

And our involvement doesn’t end when the system is switched on. We stay in touch, help our customers understand their solar and provide ongoing support to make sure they’re getting the most from their investment.

Because for us, residential solar isn’t about getting panels onto another roof. It’s about helping local households take greater control of their energy for years to come.
